In 1952 five 6000 gallon tankers were built for Vacuum Oil (later Mobil) by Hume steel (253-257) whilst another seven came from Tullochs (259, 261, 263-267). They were followed in 1953 by numbers 258, 260 and 262 from Tullochs. They were sold to BP in 1986. In 1998 numbers 265 & 266 were written off.
