According to the class record cards, in July 1988 WAR 23470 was written back and restencilled as an SC class service van. The write off date is not recorded on the class record card.  There is no mention of 23402 becoming an SC but Phil Melling's photo clearly shows that it did...  There is also evidence that WAR 23474 and ZS 580 were written back in 1988 as class SC.
