The second design of bauxite hopper built by the W.A.G.R. was the XC class introduced in 1968. They were built as follows:

1968 21029-21050

1969 21051-21062

1970 21063-21093

1972 21094-21112

1981 21113 - 21141 leverage leased from Bain Leasing Pty Ltd

My photo above shows the original WAGR lettering style on XC21071 still being carried well into the 1980s.

In 2010, all 113 XC class wagons were still in traffic. The WAGR outline diagram is shown below.
