The two ZO class brake vans (567 and 568) were produced for Western Mining Corporation (in 1965). They used AY type coach bogies with a 6'-6" wheelbase. They were fitted with knuckle couplers from the outset and dispensed with the dog-box found on W.A.G.R. vans. They had a flatter roof profile to allow them to fit under loading hoppers later used on the ZC and some ZS class vans. They were both reclassified ZS in 1980. ZS567 was written off in October 1987.
