Four JBA class tankers numbered 247 and 250-2 belonging to VACUUM oil were transferred from South Australia in 1949. They all returned to South Australia in 1952. Numbers 247, 251 and 252 returned to W.A. in 1966. Number 252 was written off in 1970. In 1971 the frame of JBA252 was fitted with the tank from JD12 and the resulting wagon became JBA12. This unique conversion was written off in 1975.
