Twenty five WOB class Iron ore wagons (31376 - 31400) were issued new in 1974. Fifteen were converted to WSM class ballast hoppers in 1977 (31398) and 1978 (31386-31397, 31399, 313400) leaving just ten in service as class WOB. Two WSM reverted to WOB in 1997 and WSM 31386-31389, 31391-31393, 31396, 31399 reverted to WOB Iron Ore wagons in 1998. In June 2010 all 25 wagons were still running as class WOB. |
